To be eligible to cast an absentee ballot in person in the Voter Registration Office individuals must be registered to vote and must complete an application for their absentee ballot. Voters must provide one of the six forms of photo identification required under Georgia law. Citizens unable to provide one of the six forms of photo identification required for in person voting under Georgia law will be required to cast a Provisional Ballot.
The voter will then have 48 hours from the day of the Election to provide ID in order for their ballot to be counted. If the voter is unable to provide the proper ID in the allotted time period, the ballot will be rejected and the voter will be notified. The Voter Registration Office hours are from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
